Swedish spa hotels
Svenska Spahotell is an association for Swedish high-quality hotels with spa activities. Membership means a guarantee for guests that the spa hotel has a certain range of treatments and activities and that these are performed by well-trained staff.
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel
The environment has always been a big part of our work and when the opportunity to become Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified in 2007 arose, we naturally took it! The Nordic Swan Ecolabel criteria give us a clear guideline in our environmental work and in what we can do every day to reduce the consumption of electricity, water and chemical products.
safehotels certification
Hotels that have received Safehotel certification worldwide are audited and approved according to the Safehotel safety standard. The standard has been developed by the world’s leading security experts.
Safehotel’s certification means that the guest’s safety is the focus and priority throughout their stay at the hotel. We promise safety in the form of continuously updated staff, routine checks of equipment, escape routes and communication between the fire department and the hotel.
Hotelstars Union classification
After the EU expressed a desire for several years for a coordinated hotel classification, the Hotelstars Union was formed in 2009. In Sweden, Visita is responsible for hotel classification, where the actual inspection activities are carried out by Svensk Klassificering AB.
The Hotelstars Union strengthens the reputation of the hospitality industry in its member countries through increased transparency and safety. The common hotel classification is a dynamic system whose criteria and guidelines are regularly reviewed and updated according to the expectations of hotel guests. The Arken Hotel & Art Garden Spa is classified as a 4-star establishment.
Svenska Möten
We have a partnership with Svenska Möten, which consists of selected conference facilities around Sweden. All conference facilities are classified, Nordic Swan Ecolabeled and selected to offer the best conditions for meetings and conferences.
To make you feel safe when you book a meeting, Svenska Möten also has a security certification. We meet their high standards for security.
